I am from Indiana and spent a ton of time fishing the Wabash and its tributaries. Great summation of the state and makes me miss all those fish. Keep up the great work. Tiny fish on!

Great! Let us know how your equipment selection works for you. I just picked up a cheap tenkara rod that folds up much shorter than any of the crappie rods. The tip of the tenkara rod seems difficult to hold steady but I have yet to try this out in the field.

Yes I enjoyed the Indiana article. I found some clear thread at the local fabric store (about half the diameter of a 5X tipit) and am using it to re-rig an old ice-fishing light jigging rod (local antique store), picked up some #24 hooks at the fly shop and some tiny split shot and I will be off the try my luck at a couple of the creeks in the Lafayette Ind area. I also have a TFO 11' 6" Soft Hackle Tenkara rod that will be getting a work-out also. I love sunshine, warming temperatures and melting snow and ice and the coming of spring.
